Measure

Our products are designed to be easy to measure and install. To help you we have assembled this little guide on the need-to-knows and how-to's of Salt Breeze.

How to measure the width of your window opening.

It is important to take three (3) measurements across the width of your window opening(s).

Take measurements across the widths noting each measurement. We will be using the smallest of the three. You can use our shutter planning guide to help.

Measure across the top, measure across the middle and measure across the bottom as per diagram.

Measuring the depth for obstacles.

Make sure you measure the depth at different points throughout the reveal before choosing your shutter.

There needs to be a minimum of 70mm clearance between any obstacles and the edge of the window frame.

This helps prevent damage caused to panels and blades during opening and closing. Use our guide below.
